Door step photos
Updated: May 22, 2020
The idea first came about when I saw other incredible photographers doing similar things all around the world and I thought what a fun idea!
I wanted to create an experience for people in my community so they had memories and photos of their family to remember such a crazy time in our history.
It was a great way to get out, meet people and every family added a little sunshine to my day.

I wanted to gift everyone an experience so rather than getting paid for this I created a just giving page for the Naboisho Conservancy in Kenya where I had visited in February 2020. this community needed help with conservation efforts so I offered everyone the chance to donate to my page. I had a wonderful response, everyone was so generous!

Why Door Step?
Its so important to your story! This is where everyone was spending most of their time so its the perfect place to represent your Lockdown experience. I wanted to deliver more than just a photo so I created a mini shoot for each family. If there was a lovely green space, flowers or awesome lighting near by then we would use this too.
Following the Lockdown rules were important. I made sure I was more than two metres apart from each family at all times. I shot a few families at a time which meant I wasn't out for more than I needed to be each day.
It's been so special meeting everyone.
I have absoloutley loved taking door step photos during lockdown.
Its an experience I'll never forget.
Thank you so much to everyone who has taken part.
Sending Virtual Hugs!
